It is going to take a real change in every part of the aviation industry.
After studying the declines in pilots over the years, analyzing the data, discovering data from aviation experts, and writing many papers on the reasons for this shortage, I have found the main cause. I am in fact a student pilot, which is where the blame is being put for the problem right now. But, I have found the real answer.
We are going to have to invest in our young people
Tip #1 - The costs have to be reduced
One of the big reasons people don't even think about becoming pilots are because of the huge prices for flight training.
Tip #2 - Training has to become "fun" again
Many young people go into flight training because of the flying, but now it is mostly ground school and flight simulators. This takes out the exhilaration and excitement that people want to become a pilot in the first place.
Tip #3 - Creation of scholarship opportunities We need to hire from all aspects of society
We need to emphasize the hiring of minorities in the aviation industry, there are so few.
"The most common ethnicity among commercial pilots is White, which makes up 86.5% of all commercial pilots." – CP Statistics
Tip #4 - Creation of scholarship opportunities
Look into creation of attractive financial options. Somehow, we must make it affordable.
The Key is through our Youth and Pilot Training
We need to make our training more mainstream and applicable to our youth as well as more affordable. This is the only way that our pilot shortage will start to get fixed. I invite y to leave a comment below your post.
